October 2012

Congratulations to Fallon Faia, the first mocker of the month for the 2012-2013 season!

“My name is Fallon Faia. I am a political science major in my junior year. I am also minoring in English. I have never competed in mock trial until this year, and so far I am loving it. I have already learned more than I ever thought that I would, and it has only been a few weeks. Being on this team has opened my eyes up to new possibilities, new challenges, and new friendships. I have enjoyed getting to know my teammates and my coaches. I have been really impressed with everyone involved in the organization. The amount of time and care that the coaches put into making us a better team is unparalleled. One of the best things about mock trial is that every single person works hard and we all support one another. We all want to see everyone do well, and we all want to do whatever we can both personally and collaboratively to make our team as strong as we can be. I am honored to be a part of this organization, and I cannot wait to see what great things the season brings for us.” – Fallon Faia

“I am proud to present October’s Mocker of the Month Fallon Faia. Fallon is a new member of the team but she has already shown an extreme dedication to this organization.  She always volunteers to go first and takes criticism very well.  She always has her work done on time and always puts in the extra hours to makes sure it is top notch.  Even when we had to switch her roles at the last minute she didn’t miss a step and moved gracefully into the new positions.  Having a direct, two crosses and a closing statement, Fallon handled the pressure with ease.  Fallon did an amazing job at this weekend’s Invitational Tournament and I can’t wait to see how she continues to grow throughout the year!” – Meghan Bishop
